SHE - Women's Ministry

Our SHE ministry is women encouraging women to become fully transformed followers of Jesus Christ.  Join us for uplifting conversation, support, learning and fun.

Morning Edition

Morning Edition will begin a new study Thursday, June 6.  Each week will be a stand-alone study so that you can join us as your summer schedule allows.  We will be exploring the Sermon on the Mount.  Childcare will be made available if there is the need.  If you would like to join us, contact Beth Funk.  Class begins at 9:15 and ends at 11:15 am.

Evening Edition

Bible study for women on Tuesday evenings from 6:30 to 8:30 pm.   Evening Edition will be on break for the summer.  Check back later in the summer for our Fall offerings.

MOPS

MOPS (Mother of Preschoolers) ministers to the hearts of mothers of children from infant to 5.  MOPS will be having summer playdates at Springfield parks.  Check back here for a listing of playdates and locations.  For more information about this ministry, please email Mandi Miller or call her at 725-9583 or  Ericka Hine.

Heart Art

Our purpose is to provide a fun atmosphere where Hope women of all ages and walks of life can gather together to socialize and work on their favorite crafts, including scrap booking, stamping, sewing, jewelry making, knitting, cross stitching and more.  We will be having a Pinterest Party on Friday, June 14 – Mark your calendars!  What Pinterest Project have you been dying to try and haven’t had the time?  This is the night!  And if you don’t have any ideas, Tiffany will be providing project ideas with all the fixins’ for a small fee.  This will be a great connecting event!.  Contact Shelley Berendt or Dianna Hathhorn for more information.

SHE Book Club

Meeting once a month to discuss a novel, the SHE Book Club would love to have you join us!   If you would like to join, please contact Jenn Lorton.  We will be discussing The Liars Club by Mary Karr on June 20 @ 6:30 at Sunny China.

Summer Leadership Group

There is a group of women who will be going through Greg Ogden’s Spiritual Leadership book, starting Wednesday, May 29 from 1:30-3 pm here at the church.  If you are interested, contact Beth Funk.  It is a 12 week session over the course of the summer.  Don’t worry if you will miss a couple over the course of the summer; don't let that stop you from joining us!

50+ Womens Small Group

New women’s small group starting on Saturdays for women.  If you have been looking for some small group community, this is a great opportunity.  There will be about an hour of Bible study, and an hour for community and prayer.  Start date still TBD.  Contact Beth if you are interested.
