Jan's Testimony--
I came to Hope Church after recently seperating from my husband of many years. I was embarking on a new life in many ways, and needed direction and guidance in doing so. I had been a memeber of another church which was not meeting mine or my children's needs. I had been invited to Hope several times and finally just went. The first thing I remember was how genuinely friendly every one was and the smiles on their faces. I had always gone to a traditional service. The music really spoke to me and I was crying by the second song. There was talk of a real relationship with Christ and God. That is what I longed for and needed in this transitional period of my life. I picked up a copy of the Upper Room and started to read the Bible passages and devotions. My children and I started going to Hope on a regular basis and I started to incorporate what I heard and read into my life. This has changed my life in countless ways.
I now consider myself an active member of the church. I am involved in many groups and activities. My daughter is also very active in the Edge and daily devotions we do together and seperately.
Had I not been lead to Hope my life would not be as it is today. I would have continued in the same destructive path I had been on. Hope showed me how to open my heart and mind to God, and allow Him to lead me in the path He has designed for me.
Since coming to Hope, I have completely surrendered my life to Chirst. I have taken this very seriously and recently "put on the wedding ring of faith". The Lord has used many people of Hope in many different ways to guide me along this path. At Hope I have made genuine friends that I know are there if I would need. I feel I can be my true self at Hope, with all my flaws and insecurities. I know God is not done with me yet.

Food for the Journey
Hope is a place for people willing to embark on a spiritual journey, from those just investigating whether there is a God, to those who have made following Christ the priority of their life. This is a safe place for everyone. But safe doesn’t mean serenity. The Bible presents a dangerous message of life change. We don’t assume everyone believes, or even knows the Bible, but we do assume everyone who comes through our doors is open to exploring it. We believe the Bible is God’s inerrant truth and it is foundational to everything we do.
The Daily Devotional Food for the Journey.
