Sallie joined our staff in March 2004. She is excited about being accepted into such a Godly place to work. Her passion is to be the person that serves the need of those contacting Hope for the first time.

Her older brother is a retired minister living out of state. She and her brother were both baptized into the First Christian Disciples of Christ Church in Louisville, Kentucky. She moved to Springfield in 1973 and continued in her career in the dental field. In 1978, her life changed abruptly. In doing that and subsequently meeting and marring Charlie Brittin she knew God had her in the right place. Through her husband's illness, she was brought to Hope and became a member. Being hired on staff, they embraced her and helped her become part of a wonderful team whose heart is to do God's work. She came to work at Hope with the desire to serve the church with her skills of organization and systems management.

When she has free time, she likes to spend it with her husband and their two girls, Pink (cat) and Mittens (cat). They might as well be children as spoiled as they are. She belongs to several groups and enjoys attending Heart Art when she can.

She is very excited about the growth of Hope and is humbled to be a part of it and watch it evolve day by day.
