Connecting At Hope
Connecting in the 21st Century
Despite our cell phones, email, blackberrys and My Space sites, the 21st century is an amazingly lonely place to live. We often insulate ourselves from others for a variety of reasons, but when it all comes down, it's often fear that's to blame. Here at Hope, our desire is to provide opportunities for you to connect with others who are seeking to find spiritual community just like you are. We hope that by connecting with others who have similar interests or life experience, we can remove at least a small portion of that fear. When it all comes down, life-change and spiritual growth HAPPEN in and because of community, so we have to jump in to grow! Here are some groups from which to choose. Perhaps just the right group is waiting there for you.
Places to Start
Heart Art: an entry point for Hope's women's ministry, these ladies gather at large events 3-4 times a year for an evening or weekend of scrapbooking, crafting, and girl talk. Great place to introduce your girlfriends to other Hope friends. Purpose: connect with other Hope ladies for friendship; get lots of scrapbooking accomplished! Mens and Womens Groups: We offer two semesters (Spring and Fall) of classes for men and women. Our mens groups range from Bible study to Mens Fraternity, and Womens groups include Beth Moore Bible studies and book studies. We offer evening and morning classes.
